
Air-Britain was delighted to return to White Waltham Airfield for our 2022 Fly-In on 25-26 June. We were last at White Waltham in 1992 and our thanks go to our hosts the West London Aero Club for welcoming us back.
In a summer of record-breaking weather, we unfortunately were impacted by a strong southerly wind on both days which made flying small aircraft very challenging. As a consequence, many of our expected visiting aircraft could not make it safely to White Waltham and rightly stayed at their home bases. We would like to thank those pilots that join us and a small number of awards were given, as shown in the table below :
