European Airports and Paris Air Show 18th June to 25th June 2011

In order to give some flavour of Air-Britain tours, here is a brief snapshot of some of the aircraft seen on the above recent trip.
The trip commenced at Dusseldorf where among those seen were TC-JGL B737-8F2W Anadolu Jet (RB), SU-BPV A320-214 Air Cairo (RB), recently delivered D-ASTY A319-132 Germania (RB), TC-SKN B737-94XER/W Sky Airlines (GT) and EC-LJT CRJ-1000 Air Nostrum (GT) which really does look like a stretch too far.
Then on to Frankfurt for a couple of days. Here we have picked B-2427 B747-4B5F Grandstar Cargo (GT), ER-ECB Embraer EMB190-100LR Air Moldova (GT), and D-ASXF B737-8F2 Sun Express Germany (GT). On the ramp tour which comprised a complete circumnavigation of the airport, 1205 Challenger 601-1A GAF (GT), CS-TKL A320-214 SATA (GT) and D-AALE B777-FZN Aerologic (GT).
While making the cross country journey to France, we stopped at the Hermeskeil Museum where D-ANAM Viscount 814D (RB) was respendent in a new colour scheme.
At Trier all the hangars were opened for our group and amongst those seen were D-HABF MD.520N (RB), OE-XTR RAF 2000 GTX SE (GT) and Fairchild 24G Argus N19109 (GB). Aircraft registered in seven countries were present.
Luxembourg provided the overnight stop with 2312 LET L-410UVP E14 Czech Air Force (RB) among the many Luxair and Cargolux.
Arriving at Orly we found CN-ROX B737-3M8F RAM (RB), F-GUPE Beech 1900D Hex'Air (RB) and F-GOOB Beech 1900C-1 Chalair (GT).
The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget was full of interest of which the following were of particular note. F-PRCQ Colomban MC-15 Cri-Cri c/n 171 which has four props compared to the normal two (RB), F-WWNX LH Aviation LH-10 Elipse one of two ordered by the Benin Air Force (GT) and F-WNXT Nemasis NXT Bull Frog c/n 100 designed to compete in the Reno Air Races (GT). Finally at Le Bourget where would we be without a biz jet. Here we have N950HB Hawker 4000 (GT) in pristine condition.
Finally Charles De Gaulle provided F-HBXC Embraer EMB170-100LR Air France the 500th Embraer produced (RB), CS-TEI A310-304 HiFly still wearing part scheme from when it was with Oman Air (RB) and HB-JIW A320-214 Hello (RB).
